Got me a 35 OBD II code reader at HarborFreight. Girlfriends 98 E320 130000 miles no CEL gives code p1747 pending. I am trying to figure out what this means. Need some help. I have a 1999 528 i sport. Four lights come on the dash Check engine ASC ( the console button is not depressed) ABS and a yellow star off the the right of the dash near the seatbelt light ( I have to look this light up in the owners manual). JEEP CHEROKEE P0756 and p0758 help

It started with p0758 Soldenoid b electrical. So i changed the TPS to eliminate the possibility of it. I then ordered all 3 solenoids and changed them. Well the check engine light went off and drove it today. It went well for 50 miles and i was pumped thinking it was fixed. Then all of a sudden CEL and when i hit about 35-40 mph it slips and wont shift into 4th gear. The new codes are P0758 and P0756.

The ECU code p1747 is telling you that there is a problem with the transmission and the transmission data that is used my many control modules including the ECU is not getting to the ECU. My 94 jeep cherokee sport auto is having trouble shifting. It stays in one gear and when driving my rpms are at 2000 to 2500. It drives fine but it takes a bit for it to get it going I have to put it to a low gear (1-2) for it to pick up to speed then I shift it into drive. If ur shifting at higher RPM than should b it could still be & prolly is ur solenoid A or B. Is it still throwing a code It might not be bad but just sticking and y its taking higher rpms to shift. Ive seen others on this forum with this same issues & when delved deeper into codes it said it was sticking causing a fault every so often. Also its what my 98 XJ is doing now. It never threw a light on

My 1998 e320 4Matic 151k miles has started giving high-pitched whining sound after the ATF change. No slipping no driveability issues. I used Genuine MB recommended fluid which I bought from eBay. I had drained Torque Converter in addition to the ATF pan removalfilter change. I saved and measured the old drained fluid (about 8 quarts) and replaced with the same exact amount of the fresh fluid. Why wouldnt it just be a valve body or torque converter anyone have any suggestions please thanks

Hello everyone I accidentally posted this in the AMG forum first whoops. Good news though I just switched last week from a 95 BMW to a 98 280 wsport. The car only has 115000 kms. However I have noticed that there is knock in the engine at idle. I just tried a can of Tune-UP to see if it would clear the sound but it hasnt. error code is p1747 ...manufacturer check transmission. car dies shortly after i start it fuse 22 is blown. replaced with bigger fuse car runs a little longer then dies again.
