FIAT CINQUECENTO 170 Help with fitting wheel trims onto a Cinquecento Sporting

Hi there Ive just been given a fiat cinquecento Sporting 96 with the standard tyres however in an attempt to jazz it up a bit I want to fit a set of wheel trims without having to fork out for new tyres. Can someone give me some advice on what Ill need to do to fit these I dont have a clue where to start am a bit of a car novice if truth be told.. Thanks in advance

FIAT CINQUECENTO 170 Wheel trims

Hi guys are the punto 13 inch trims a straight swap for the seicento Most the trims i see on ebay have fake caps where the bolts would go the punto ones seemed the best replacement Also can anyone perhaps reccomend a specialist in trims that would have some nice trims for a seicento

trims are trims. So if your wheel diameter is 13 then the punto trims will fit. If you want to know your wheel diameter then just look on the side of your tire and it will say R13 if they are 13 inch or R14 if they are 14 inch. Any motor factor will stock a selection of wheel trims e.g. halfords or your local parts store. Many wheel trims have those fake caps on them dont know why guess its for looks. Personally i prefer OEM fiat ones so punto trims would probably look okay on your car

Being my first car i dont know a greaat deal about fitting trims but my mechanic freind advised too avoid trims that dont have fixing points as they wont last long at all Think i will go with the fiat panda ones going too price some from fiat tommorow as there 30 pounds a trim on ebay

FIAT CINQUECENTO 170 Plastic wheel trims

hi ive aquired some standard trims for my sx. how do these affix to the wheel as it is the bolts go through the hole and wont hold them on thanks James

The bolts are there for show IIRC its the small circular rim at the back that is the fixing element. If the bolts arent for show then there will only be one way in which they go on like all wheel trims just kick them on tie wrap them for extra security and fitting

are these fiat wheel trims or aftermarket

your cinq wheels are 13 those look like uno or tipo trims to me they may be possibly 14 if that is case they wont fit. You will need to take your wheel nuts off put on the trims then refit your wheel nuts the one with the big mark looks water damaged would have possibly not bought these

ive just measured thwem and they are 13.5 . they look fine from the front. i dont think the mark has damaged them i was pmd by a member of this board in repsonse to a wanted ad for some cinq trims. paid for them and got these through the post

FIAT CINQUECENTO 170 wheel trims

ok my mates cinq looks a shed hes lost two wheel trims what are the ones that are available from fiat to fit the cinq. all pics welcome thanks

a YEAR not bad at all for a fiver Im not too hot on what trims are good so hopefully someone will be able to recommend a decent set. only advice i got is....stay away from spinners

from a scrappy try and get 2 matched pairs off rear wheels... less scuffage... Cheers

I agree with Wrexham man. Buy yourself some cheap trims to be going on with and save up for some alloys. Slightly scuffed or not they look better than the wheel trims. Insurance doesnt always go up - depends on your company. Best thing I ever did .

FIAT CINQUECENTO 170 KWIK FIT just tracked my car with 3 wheel trims on made it worse

hi all just been kwik fit to get my car tracked left it there came back the guy said its all done took it down the motorway its even worse took it back he put the lazers back on her said its all ok (i never seen the laser l) but he left the 3 wheel trims on whioch would of ment it w2ouldnt of been a true read is this true really annoyed me

complain to head office as all wheel trims need to be removed so u have paid for nothing.....

I am en ex employee for kwik fit and you do need to take the wheel trims off for a true reading. The wheel trim alters the reading by quite a lot so if they have been trained properly then they should know this. With the price you would have paid then you should take it back and tell them 22 do it properly. If not then contact head office or area manager. They wilk sht them selves and sort it proper. Best of look Jay
