FIAT UNO II MK1 UNO Blower

I was driving home from work Last Monday and got a burning smell. I pulled over and checked under the bonnet but everything was fine. I continued on but the burning smell returned. When I got home I checked the whole car but couldnt find out where it was coming from. The next day the interior blower wasnt working. The fuse is fine so I came to the conclusion that the fan must have burned out. MK1 uno

FIAT UNO II Uno 1.1 IES 1993 heater fan not working

First of all is it the blower fan thats not working or is there no heat coming from the vents A faulty blower fan will need the heater unit removed from under the dashboard whereas no heat may be something a lot simpler such as a failed thermostat or non functioning heater valve.

Not blowing which is interesting as the 12v plug that connects to the resistor block is keyed... Ill have to look into reversing the power to this later on in the week good times

If only you knew how many hours it took me to strip it all out clean and paint the water ways rebuild it all and then fit it back into place... lol im still not sure how I could reverse a fans direction by simply moving the magnetic housing over infact im sure thats not possible. Ill have to swap the 12v feed to the resistor block because there is no way that im taking it all apart again if all else fails I guess ill have the only uno in the whole world thats a sucker... not a blower lol epic

Hi all HVAC fan motor stopped working after 10yrs of service I need to replace the same urgently. ePER shows 2 product codes for Electric Motor. 7641117 V1 V3(I believe this is compatibility) 7641115 V2 V3 M2 1) How do i find which one is compatible with my HVAC. What does V1 V2 V3 M2 mean 2) Should one be concerned about the plastic assembly where the fan will be fitted . 3) Where can i order this online (ePER throws error has occured when adding the item to basket). Thanks Eby

Get a slim fan from the scrapyard and mount it in front of the cooler. blowers have a higher degree of efficiency . Or just get the biggest fan you can get from fiat spare parts.

FIAT UNO II Just got myself a Uno )

Hi everybody I just bought myself a fiat uno 1.0i.e. today. It is white 5 doors. Low mileage and it is not too bad for its age though it needs a lot of TLC. These are becoming really rare and I was pleased I managed to get hold of one. Here it goes a few pictures. It was a few minor mechanical issues all easy to solve I hope. The idle is a bit irregular so I am planning to clean the idle control valve. Any advise

Hi I hope I bring good news. When I arrived to the car today it had only a few drops of oil on the floor. Very different from the large puddle yesterday. I was then very rapidly led to believe the leak would be not from the inner boot but from the top of the gearbox. This is what I found in terms of oil marks The pictures are not great and in all honesty the gearbox is filthy But in all that dirt the

Help just arrived at work and theres smoke coming out of the inside fuse box Just a few minutes before the left indicator stopped flashing right was ok at first but now stopped too. Hazards work ok but now both indicators are dead - dashboard indicator light constantly on. Im going to need to figure out how to fix indicators but for the moment im hoping i can get home by just removing a fuse maybe

Well i had RAC cover fortunately. The nice chap came out and after half an hour of shredding his fingers managed to get the melted connector block removed. Cleaned up a bunch of corrosion on the terminals and rendered it (unofficially) safe. However LH indicators still dont flash. Regardless it seemed ok to drive home until i noticed later that (having been testing the brake lights) a pool of brake
