I was driving around yesterday and the Check Gauges light started blinking. I stopped the jeep
and restarted it which did away with the Check Gauges light. However I checked for any codes and p052
2 popped up. From what I have checked the error code means the engine oil pressure sensorswitch is receiving low voltage. Any ideas on what may need to be fixed or checked Cheers

2006 Rubicon Unlimited. I have been having alot of o2 sensor problems. I have had all four changed in November. I have recently had a dealership run their diagnostic check. Ultimately they say that I must redo all sensors again. They did not install the previous sensors. Now I am getting P032 and p052
. I can find p052
on the code sheet. I cant find P032. Any help would be appreciated.
P0032 is bank 1 sensor 1 P0052 is bank 2 sensor 1 Dont know if those codes are both listed in the TJ FAQ in the stickies or not. I checked them here... httpwww.allpar.comfixcomputer-codes.html I know very little about later TJs with the mini cats and more O2 sensors so cant really help more than the codes at the moment.
I would remove the negative battery terminal for 15 minutes to clear the codes then see if they come back on.
Thanks for the replies. I have already tried removing the codes via the battery cable. They always come back. Any idea if there could be long term damage of any kind if I just let it go My MPG has been fine.
Let me start by saying Im not exactly an engine or electrical guy but I am handy and more than willing to learn. I received a check gauges warning this weekend. The oil pressure gauge was nearly at the bottom-most position. I shut it off and restarted the needle jumped ever-so-slightly up but it was basically at the bottom. I pulled the code and 523 was the only one to come up. Looking up the code

The oil pressure sensor is notorious for causing just that problem mine did. I would just replace it which is easily done by unscrewing it and screwing the new replacement back in. Its located near the oil filter.

There are VERY FEW of us here with the 2.4L motor used in the 2003 thru 2006 SE wranglers. So information on problems (surprizingly few so far it seems) with this engine is pretty scarce. Jerry is probably right that the sensor is the problem

So replaced the sensor (got it recently and before I did it looked pretty new but replaced it anyways). And the oil pressure gauge still doesnt work but when you turn the ignition on it moves up like the rest of the gauges but as soon as you start the engine the CHECK GAUGES light comes on and the gauge stays bottomed out at any RPM. Possible issue with oil pump maybe or maybe it is the cluster even

Just had this code come up on my 13 jk... repaired under warranty. Intake needs to come off so its not a very easy job. No CEL for 200 miles... so far so good.

Wranger 4.0 First when I turn the car on and I drive there is a buzzing noise. I tried to get a close listen where it was coming from and It is coming from the alternator. My 2012 is throwing check engine light errors specifically low oil pressure. Two trips to the dealership they see the codes but everything checks out. this happen to anyone else

Came on at 7000 miles on my 2013 wrangler
. Reset myself twice because I thought it was the gas cap it started first start after fillup. Had to go the dealers they said it is my oil pressure sending unit. I asked if they were absolutely sure they said yes. Had to order the part. Plenum needs to be pulled for that. I really dont like the idea of them pulling it apart. So the other morning I went to start my jeep
. It wasnt too cold maybe 40 degrees out. It started like normal then my dash started to beep.. Saying check gauges. So I checked them and the only one that was outta whack was my oil pressure one that was on dead low. I turned off my jeep

Rubicon Unlimited is having some strange issues. The first one started awhile ago and once the jeep
is cold and I start it the gauges for the oil pressure temp gauge and fuel gauge dont read at all and I get check gauges error light. Once I turn it off and restart it the gauges start working normally. I was just dealing with this issue and restarting it but now I have a new problem.
P0123 Bad throttle position sensor. p0522 which is the Engine Oil Pressure sensor getting low voltage. Sounds weird Id check the three sensors. Maybe a harness problem or cluster problem.

2 and P0463. Was sitting in garage during coldest temps here in Texas (teens ice storm). ETC low fuel (has gas) and engine icons also displayed. Cranks good but not getting fuel. When gas sprayed into intake itll start up but then stops as soon as thats gone. I hate to take it somewhere and spend by the hour for troubleshooting if I can eliminate some (or better fix it). 55K miles automatic. Thanks

OKay guysI have tried this forum before and I have been all over the web and still havent found a solution so please dont be harsh on me. Christmas Eve Oklahoma gets worst blizzard in state history. I had something I had to do had to get out. (remote country back road) snow was too deep and having white out conditions couldnt tell where the ditch was until I was in it. Does anyone know anything about this Over the past couple of weeks sometimes it will come on sometimes it wont. It doesnt really run bad when it is on except right when I start driving down the alley its a little weak but after that I never feel anything else. I would like to get this fix before this weekend so any help is appreciated. Oh and it is on a 07 JK. Someone on another forum told me to check the evap can but I didnt see anything wrong with it.
