MAZDA 6 I GG GY Discussion on Euro Headlight Motors

httpforum.mazda6club.comindex.phps&a...t&p1464694 Felix quoted me when he replied so I figured it&39d be easier to just look at one post. Anyway time to explain. I bought European headlights last year which came with the manual leveling motors built-in and I want to revive them when I do my FX retrofit. I found this how-to on headlight motors over HIDPlanet ( httpwww.hidplanet.comforumsviewtopic....558&start0

Don&39t do this i have euro spec 6 with electric leveling and want to retro fit it to manual adjustment as the motors have failed and from what i can gather is quite a common problem as the spindle on them shears off.

Hi Im new here ... but am rather desperate for some info on my beloved mazda. Have got really fed up with swapping halogen bulbs which are going off like pop-corn... I drive with lights on all the time - live in UK is rather dark here most the time . Anyhow bought some OEM Xenons few days back. Dropped my bumper off took old lights out put new ones in but noticed the new lights have an extra plug socket

MAZDA 6 I GG GY In dash headlight level adjuster problem

Hi there I have just bought a RHD JDM Atenza 23S with OEM HID lights. It has a 4 position rotary switch in the dash to raise or lower the headlight beams with what sounds like a little electric adjustinglevelling motor inside the headlight. I (or rather the dealer) recently had to change the HID bulbs and ever since then the adjustment of the left headlight stopped functioning. The electric motor inside

MAZDA 6 I GG GY Euro Headlights from EBAY

So I was in an accident and my passenger side headlight is totally messed up. The housing tabs and the clear cover are all broken but the actual lights projectors etc.. are all ok still working. I didn&39t want to spend the 600 for ONE new headlight so I was thinking about ordering the EURO pair that goes for 300 comes without the foglight. I have the original fogs so thats not a problem. I don&39t

Quote Just got the headlights today The seller said they got held up going through US Customs since they came from Germany. Quality is great just like the factory one and like no scratches. A few scuffs here and there but only when you look at them up close. Good seller IMO responded quickly in case anyone buys anything from them. Quote The city light stays on all the time unlike our parking light that we have to turn the switch for them you might find inside the euro low projector is different from the NA low projector and there may be a small box under the projector that will be a motor for the auto adjustment for the head lights that are in the speed6.[b] Will they easily work on NA cars

Do you know if they will &39auto adjust&39 on my NA 6 I suppose this is what you meant [attachment25672motor.jpg] It has 3 little wires going into it.

MAZDA 6 I GG GY HID

Does anyone know what color temperature output the mazda6s original HID Xenon lamps have I would hope they have the 6000K and not only the 4100K since you get much better light from the latter. Anyway to all of you who (like me) dont get HID in your package its real easy to buy them aftermarket (even though it wont be any cheaper than getting them factory mounted). One (good) source for interested

I just got my aftermarket HID Xenon lights installed a couple of days ago. In Singapore mazda motors here claims that its not worthwhile bringing the cars in with Xenon already installed and most owners would go for 3rd party manufacturers so they dont even have them as after-sales items (accessories). Im not sure but I read in another thread about auto-leveling Spore mazda 6s come with electrical

BMW X3 E83 Rear fog switch

Surely all you need to make the rear fogs operational is more than just a switch. Does anyone know if this works be itself httpwww.ecstuning.comBMW-E83-X3-M54_3.0l

place and wired up but I needed to alter the coding before the rear fogs would turn on. E46 LSZs are electrically identical to E83 LSZs. Also the switch has no coding whatsoever. Id recommend getting the xenon switch whether or not you have xenons. The only difference is the presence of the 2nd dial. Since US cars cant use that 2nd dial no matter what you may as well not have it. Quote I think mazda
