Hi everyone. Just wanted a bit of advise to install aftermarket

We just did an aftermarket parktronic install on a C300 and I took a bunch of pics. An interesting development was that
mercedes lists quickpark as being available for all new C
class except the elegance trim package. I had wondered why but when the bumper came off it was readily apparant. The bumper had to be sent out to have notches cut into it to accept the
sensors in the proper position. If anyone

parking sensor so I would like to write it out and for all of you who have a face-lifted W210 with this option. The only tools I need is in the photo 1 (sorry I dont know the name in English) and the whole process will take about an hour. If you found your

I want to install rear
parking sensors in my car. Can anybody advice me on this please. 1. The best place to drill the bumpers. 2. Where should i tap the reverse lamps to power the
parking sensors. The reverse lamps being on the boot lid is it easier to splice a wire and get power off it. If I am to do that how can I identify the wires to the reversing lamps. What is the best way of tapping power to the reversing
sensor. Thanks in advance

Hi there My rear bumper bar is broken and I can get a good second hand one as a replacement. Only problem is that the replacement one does not have holes for the four
parking sensors. Does anybody know if they can be refitted somehow (holes glue etc.) or if special brackets are necessary or if the
parking sensor bumper (1638807271) is different in other ways - for example there could be no access behind the plastic at all. Any help is very much appreciated.

Hu guys i have a w211 2004 bright silver modified to 2008 bumpers and lights and mirrors which i adore. i recently have a problem with the
parking sensors. They work when i start the car perfectly and when i accelerate as u know there are no lights on the
sensor screen but when i am slowing again a high sound beeps with two red lights in the small screen of the
sensor and they are jammed on D or Reverse.
Well lets say I„m
parking my car in front of a wall. The
sensor doesn„t show me the exact distance as it happens. Lets say I reached a distance where it should make that sound it will take about a second or two till I the
sensor move on that screen and here the beep sound. Is it supposed to be like that One more question is there away to make the
sensor work same as the one on bmw I mean by sound.. the beep would increase as I„m closing to that object next to the car Thanks.

I used OEM parking strips without PTS (IE I used parking strips that were not for OEM PTS)...the after market units are not recessed (Well not the ones I used - they insert from the front - carsensors.com) I was going to french all of them in for a smoother look - but any one that has tried to get a perfect radius in ABS knows that it is almost a why bother. Also after considering removal I decided not to have the head unit in a wall thickness. So my aftermarket units look factory but not mercedes MY2005 w203 factory...more like a w140. Jake
